Medication use in bird feeders shown to reduce mosquitos in a pilot study

Researchers reported that putting Medication in bird feeders in places where Culex mosquitoes congregate showed promise in reducing the number of infectious mosquitoes that could transmit the West Nile virus to humans. An additional 16% reduction was noticed when feeders were placed in contiguous lots.
